Where to get pizza in Norfolk: Colley Avenue to Ocean View

Norfolk’s pizza runs in a line from Colley Avenue and Ghent, near Old Dominion University, north to Ocean View, where Bayview Boulevard, East Ocean View Avenue and Shore Drive each have a shop or two. East Little Creek Road, Military Highway and Granby Street downtown fill in the rest. Three local names, Chanello’s, Cal’z and Chelsea Bakehouse, have several Norfolk stores each.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Norfolk’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on 2026-10-20. We added pizza places found in the Virginia Department of Health inspection records only where the place’s own site gives a Norfolk address. Two places without a website stay on the list because the health department inspected them in 2026. We dropped two records we could not confirm. The list is alphabetical. Antonio’s Pizza & Italian Ristorante on East Little Creek Road sells pizza, hoagies, pasta and pizza-and-wings combinations, with online ordering.

Cal’z Pizza has three Norfolk stores, at Bayview, Five Points and on Hampton Boulevard near the naval station and Old Dominion University, plus two in Virginia Beach. Each takes online orders.

Chanello’s Pizza is a Virginia chain with three Norfolk stores, in Five Points, Ghent and Ocean View. Its site says each serves the full menu, from specialty and build-your-own pizza to oven-baked wings, subs and salads, for delivery or carryout.

Chelsea Bakehouse makes pizza with organic flour leavened with sourdough. It runs Chelsea Pizza beside its bakery on West Olney Road, a pizza counter on Shore Drive in Ocean View and the kitchen at Elation Brewing on Colley Avenue.

Cogan’s Pizza has two Norfolk restaurants, in Ghent on Colonial Avenue and Cogan’s North on Colley Avenue, each with its own beer list. It takes reservation requests and party orders.

Del Vecchios on West 47th Street has no website. The Virginia Department of Health inspected it on April 13, 2026.

Domino’s at 725 E. Little Creek Road is a delivery and carryout store. Other Norfolk Domino’s stores are on the chain’s site.

Golden Pizzeria on Tidewater Drive offers delivery and online ordering.

Granby Street Pizza is a family-owned downtown shop, open since 2006, that serves New York-style pizza along with subs, pasta and salads.

Mike’s Pizza on Hampton Boulevard has been family owned since 1977 and draws on Greek heritage: New York-style pizza, gyros and Greek dishes, with a market of Mediterranean groceries and imported wines.

MOD Pizza at the Norfolk Premium Outlets builds pizzas to order with unlimited toppings.

New York Pizzeria on Maple Avenue offers pickup and delivery, with pizza-and-wings deals.

Papa Johns on Granby Street is a delivery and carryout store; delivery runs to 11 p.m., or midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Pizza Hut has a carryout and delivery store at 9643 1st View St. near Ocean View and a Pizza Hut Express on North Military Highway, whose page lists no hours or phone.

Sal’s Famous NY Pizza on North Military Highway makes hand-made crusts and offers dine-in, takeout, delivery and catering.

Sour Street Pizza in Ocean View bakes wood-fired sourdough pizza. It is closed Christmas Eve and Christmas.

University Pizza on Colley Avenue near Old Dominion University has no website. The Virginia Department of Health inspected it on Sept. 22, 2026.

US Best Pizza & Wings on Tidewater Drive takes orders through its site, which does not list hours in its page text.
