Seven bakeries inside Norfolk city limits, from French pastry and bagels in Ghent to Chelsea's pastry case, Crave and Selden Market downtown.

Last checked 2026-10-23. Refreshed every three months.

Norfolk’s bakeries are mostly in and around Ghent: La Brioche on Colley Avenue, Yorgo’s on Colonial Avenue, Nothing Bundt Cakes on West 25th Street and Chelsea Bakery on West Olney Road in West Ghent. Downtown has Crave on College Place and Juniper & Jam inside Selden Market, and Duck Donuts is at the Norfolk Premium Outlets.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Norfolk’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on 2026-10-23. We added Chelsea Bakery, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Yorgo’s Bageldashery from their own sites, and Juniper & Jam from the Downtown Norfolk Council dining directory and its own site. We left out a bakery with no website that we could not confirm with a second source, and a chain bakery-cafe whose location pages did not load. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
